General House League Information
Teams are created based on grade level for the 2009-2010 school year.
Grade Game Nights
K & 1st Grade Thursday (Tee-ball)
2nd & 3rd Grade Monday & Wednesday (Coach Pitch & Tee)
4th & 5th Grade Tuesday & Thursday (Player Pitch & Tee)
6th-8th Grade Monday (Doubleheaders)
*** Only one day per week until School is out for Summer ***
Our goal is that all players receive equal and fair playing time in each game throughout the season.
Each player receives a team jersey (which may not be altered). Players provide their own gloves and wear either tennis shoes or non-metal cleats. Batting helmets, bats and balls are provided, though families are welcome to provide their own if desired.
·K - 1st grade will have a year-end Picnic Party at Rosalyn Park
2nd-3rd will have either a year end picnic at Rosalyn Park or Tournament at Van Valkenburg Park
4th-8th grade teams will participate in a year-end round-robin EYSA tournament at Van Valkenburg Park
6th-8th grade teams will participate Edina’s league and have a few games against Richfield
9th-12th Graders interested in playing are invited to participate through Edina and play against Richfield

April 26 Skills and Drills Begin for grades K - 5
May 3 Scrimmages begin for grades 2-8
May 3 6th - 8th grade games begin
May 10 2nd - 5th grade games begin
June 3 K/1 Skills and games begin
June 30 - July 6 No games scheduled
July 4 Edina July 4th Parade (tentative)
July 19 Year-end Picnic Party for K and 1st grade (tentative)
July 21 End of Year Coaches Dinner
